Wiper seals, i.e. rubber or other synthetic seals that are fitted around a moving shaft. The function of wiper seals is to prevent dirt from penetrating the system, cylinders valves, etc. The wiper has a wiping lip to wipe away the dirts. The choice of wiper rings should, however, be founded on as carefully drawn-up requirements. In addition, the surrounding environment and service conditions must be taken into special consideration.
